Howard Behar the former President of Starbucks International. He is a co-founder of the Washington Business Alliance and serves as the Board Vice-Chair. Howard participated in the growth of Starbucks from 28 stores to over 15,000 stores spanning five continents. He served on the Starbucks Board of Directors for twelve years before retiring.

Alan Crain is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Seattle Bank. He has over 20 years of financial services experience, including as Chief Financial Officer for Cashmere Valley Bank, and at the public accounting firm Knight, Vale & Gregory, where he focused on audit and taxation of financial institutions.

Lisa Fitzhugh is an acclaimed speaker, facilitator and strategist.  She has over 20 years experience as a leader and consultant in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Today she is a sought-after “creativity catalyst” who helps organizations in every sector access the kind of transformational thinking that opens the way to new insights and solutions for ourselves and our world. Lisa is also the founder and former executive director of Arts Corps, the largest arts education program in Washington State reaching underserved communities throughout King County. 

Mike Flynn is the former CEO of the Puget Sound Business Journal. During his nearly quarter century with PSBJ, Flynn presided over its growth in influence and financial success as it became what was generally recognized by its peers as one of the most successful and respected weekly business newspapers in America.

Joe Fugere is the founder of Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria. Founded in 2004, Tutta Bella now has four locations  with over 180 employees in the Seattle metropolitan area and is popular amongst locals. Joe has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant business. He also has extensive experience in management.

David Giuliani is the former CEO and co-founder of Pacific Bioscience Laboratories, the Clarisonic® company. David is also a co-founder of the Washington Business Alliance and serves as the Board Chair. Previously, he was CEO and co-founder of Optiva Corporation, the Sonicare® company. He also was a featured speaker at the White House Conference on Corporate Responsibility in recognition of his innovative business practices.

Russell Harper is a co-founder of NexTec Group and serves as the Vice President of Technology. Russell directs the ongoing evaluation and review of technologies included in the NexTec solutions portfolio. Prior to working with NexTec Group, Russell was a consultant for several companies, including Harper and Pearson and Andersen Consulting. 

Lori Kaiser is vice president of sales for Wells Fargo’s Washington and Western Canada’s regional commercial-banking offices. Kaiser has been active in city, county and state government and currently serves as a board adviser to the National Association of Corporate Directors. She previously worked as an executive at Cray, Icicle Seafoods and Deloitte and was on the Mukilteo City Council.

Isaac Kastama is Governmental Affairs Director for the Washington Business Alliance. Isaac develops initiatives and provides strategic counsel to the Business Alliance leadership and subject based issue committees. Before joining the Alliance, Isaac served as a project manager and issue advocacy consultant on state and federal government issues. 

Bill Lewis is Chairman of Lease Crutcher Lewis, a construction firm with offices in Seattle and Portland, and very deep roots in the community. Lewis currently serves on the board of Todd Pacific Shipyards, Washington STEM, Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies Advisory Board, the Washington Roundtable and the UW School of Medicine Scholarship and Student Support Committee. In addition, he is past board chairman of The Seattle Foundation, Downtown Seattle Association and the Woodland Park Zoological Society, as well as past corporate chair of Seattle's American Heart Walk.

Stephen B. Loeb is the Chief Executive Officer of Alaska Distributors Co. Prior to this role, Mr. Loeb served as President of Alaska Distributors Co. since 1998. Mr. Loeb has exceptional knowledge and experience in the beverage industry as well as logistics, distribution, sales, marketing and import/export with one of the top ranked private companies in Washington State. He has been a Director of TC Global, Inc. since July 6, 2011.

Steve Mullin is president of the Washington Roundtable, a public policy research and advocacy group comprised of chief executive officers of major Washington state companies. Prior to joining the Roundtable, Steve served as founding executive director of Partnership for Learning.

Vicki Orrico is a successful practicing attorney and public policy consultant with experience in education, healthcare, community relations and fiscal policy. Extensive relationships within municipal and state governments, and Seattle and Eastside businesses and institutions.

Kurt Owen is Senior Vice President - Investments, Wealth Advisor, The Owen Canlas Wealth Management Group, UBS Financial Services, Inc.

Roz Solomon is the former Executive Director and currently an active advisor to the Washington Business Alliance. Before joining the Business Alliance, Roz was the principal of IA Consulting, a legal and public policy consulting firm. Prior to her work as a consultant, Roz served as an administrative law judge for the State of Washington and was an adjunct professor at the Seattle University School of Law, where she taught trial advocacy. Roz maintained a corporate transactions and litigation law practice prior to her work as a judge.
